How to Borrow:
Purchase a membership to begin borrowing tools.
Select tool and reserve for desired length (1-2 weeks recommended).
Submit reservation in your cart.
You will receive an email confirmation including instructions for pick up.
Tool pick up is available by appointment only, as we aren’t consistently staffed.
Tool Rental Rules
The Member assumes all responsibility for the use of borrowed items by themselves or any parties that the Member allows to have access to the tools in their possession.
By taking possession of any item, the Member is certifying that they are capable of using the item safely and properly.
The Member agrees that if any borrowed tool becomes unsafe or in a state of disrepair, they will immediately discontinue use of them and notify the library of the issue.
The Member agrees that the NeTL is not liable for any manufacturing defects and/or any effect on the quality of workmanship, materials, or well-being of the Member due to failure of any borrowed tools.
Items will be returned in the same condition as they were issued, barring normal wear and tear. All items must be returned free of debris and wiped down. A $5 cleaning fee will be assessed if tools are returned dirty.
Please coordinate with the library for return and DO NOT drop off tools outside by door.
If tool is lost or broken, member is responsible for the replacement cost of the item.
