Open House Celebration

On September 6, 2025, we threw the door of the tool library wide open! To celebrate the start of this project, honor the work that’s brought us here, and welcome community members more deeply into the fold, we hosted an open house celebration. Complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, free pizza from Cornerstone, music by Steven Googin, tours of the library, a 250 Horses recording, and speakers on the topic of the tool library, the three-hour event brought together more than seventy community members for a festive, rainy-day gathering at the AuSable Valley Grange.

Thanks to all who supported the event, and to all who showed up with curiosity for the project. We are energized and excited to continuing working on the tool library with hopes to officially open the doors next summer!
